Classic Robél

Regular towels never gave me enough room to feel completely covered. They would separate at the front when I sat down, shift around my chest when I moved, or leave me holding everything together with one hand. I was always adjusting something.

The Robél gives me the coverage I was looking for without feeling oversized or bulky. I actually could have sized down and still been fine. The front overlaps securely across my body, the straps keep the top in place, and I can walk, sit, or bend down without worrying about it opening. I finally feel comfortable after my shower instead of constantly checking whether I’m still covered.

I was skeptical because every towel claims to stay wrapped, but the second I start walking, bending down, or reaching for something, it usually loosens. The first time I wore my Robél, I moved around my room, picked clothes up off the floor, made my bed, and never had to stop to pull it back up. I wasn’t clutching it closed or constantly checking that I was still covered. It stayed exactly where I put it, which made the time after my shower feel so much more comfortable.

After my showers, I used to feel like I had to get dressed right away, even when I wasn’t ready to. Now I put on my Robél, grab my book, and sit by the window for a few quiet minutes. Sometimes I’ll watch an episode of my favorite show or just relax without feeling damp, restricted, or worried about my towel coming undone. It’s turned the time after my shower into a moment I actually look forward to.

Before the Robél, getting out of the shower always felt like a rushed little process. I’d dry off with one towel, wrap myself in another, then put on lounge clothes before I was completely dry. Within minutes, my shirt would feel damp and uncomfortable, and I’d have a wet towel and a bulky robe left behind.

Now I step out of the shower, put on my Robél, and that’s all I need. It dries me like a towel, covers me like a robe, and lets me take my time before getting dressed. I can sit on my bed, choose what I’m wearing, or just relax for a few minutes without soaking through my clothes. It replaced my towel, my bathrobe, and the ‘after-shower outfit’ I used to change into.

As a mom, the five minutes after my shower are never actually mine. Someone needs breakfast, help finding something or wants to come into the bathroom. I can throw this on and handle whatever is happening without worrying about my towel opening. That alone made it worth buying.

I didn’t realize how much time I spent holding my towel closed until I didn’t have to anymore. I can moisturize, brush my teeth and do my skincare without keeping one hand on my chest the entire time. It’s such a simple change, but it makes getting ready feel so much easier.
